Mr. Wang Zhaofeng, the representative of China Hong Kong of International Emergency Management Association, and the chief expert of SIOETC (Shandong) International Ocean Engineering Training Center participated in the Turkish earthquake rescue work immediately after the earthquake. At the United Nations International Search and Rescue Reception and Evacuation Center, Mr. Wang worked together with professional rescuers, government representatives and volunteers from all over the world to contribute to the earthquake relief in Turkey.

Deputy Wang said: "Compared with the search and rescue teams sent by the government, most emergency volunteers around the world go home in a low profile. We pay our own money, use our annual leave and voluntarily face high-risk environment. The only reason why we remain enthusiastic is to serve those in need in the crisis. He especially thanked the Emergency Management Department of China and the Embassy of China in Turkey for their appropriate assistance during the mission. "
