Jinan University's School of Emergency Safety and SIOETC International Marine Engineering Training Center Collaborate to Build a Maritime Emergency Safety Defense Line

Recently, the Shandong International Ocean Engineering Training Center (SIOETC) and the Emergency Safety College of Jinan University have reached an important cooperation agreement, in which the two sides will work together to carry out in-depth cooperation in the field of maritime emergency safety education and training. This cooperation marks a solid step for SIOETC in the field of marine safety and emergency education, and will make positive contributions to enhancing China's maritime emergency safety capabilities.

The School of Emergency Safety at Jinan University has a high-level teaching team with rich teaching experience, strong scientific research ability, and the courage to explore and innovate. PhDs account for 80%, and vice senior titles or above account for 70%.; The Emergency Management major is one of the first 19 pilot universities for emergency management project construction under the Ministry of Education; The Shandong Province School Safety Research and Education Base is the only professional service institution in Shandong Province jointly established by the Shandong Provincial Department of Education and Jinan University, focusing on school safety education management. The college has multiple teaching and experimental training platforms, including a Big Data Experimental Center, a Standardization Engineering Experimental Center, an Information Management Simulation Training Room, and a Data Management Technology Analysis Laboratory.


1、 Maritime emergency safety and rescue training

SIOETC will provide professional maritime emergency safety and rescue training for students and personnel from various departments of the School of Emergency Safety at Jinan University. The training content includes but is not limited to maritime emergency rescue skills, safety operation standards, etc., aiming to improve the students' ability to respond to maritime emergencies.


2、 Academic exchange and cooperation

Both sides will organize academic exchanges, visits and inspections, as well as various specialized meetings, lectures and other activities to promote exchanges and cooperation in the fields of marine engineering and emergency safety, and jointly promote innovation and development of related technologies.


3、 Emergency drill guidance

SIOETC will provide consultation and participation guidance for emergency drills at all levels of departments at the School of Emergency Safety of Jinan University, helping the college improve its emergency response and response capabilities, and ensuring that it can respond quickly and effectively in the event of emergencies.





The signing of this cooperation agreement not only helps to strengthen the close connection between Shandong International Marine Engineering Training Center and the School of Emergency Safety at Jinan University, but also injects new vitality and momentum into the development of China's maritime emergency safety education. SIOETC was established in 2018 as a state-owned private mixed ownership enterprise of a joint-stock international standardization and safety training center. Located in Senda Meigang, Weifang.
