From March 25th to 27th, the 14th Beijing International Marine Engineering Technology and Equipment Exhibition (CM2024 Beijing Marine Industry Exhibition) will be held at the Beijing China International Exhibition Center (New Hall), focusing on showcasing equipment and technology in the fields of marine oil and gas, marine engineering equipment, underwater robots, offshore wind power, and more. The SIOETC International Marine Engineering Training Center was established in 2018 and is a state-owned private mixed ownership enterprise of a joint-stock international standardized safety training center. Located on the coast of Bohai Sea and adjacent to the national first-class open port of Weifang Sendamei Port in Laizhou Bay.

SIOETC cultivates certification, certification, skill training, and promotion needs for marine resource practitioners in China to meet the needs of global mid to high end maritime engineering industry clients (including offshore oil, wind power, minerals, and supporting engineering systems, military officers, soldiers, public security and firefighting, emergency rescue organizations, medical support departments, and other related maritime workers and managers), in order to improve personnel safety at sea Environmental protection and survival skills improve accident survival rate and rescue success rate.

In June 2021, SIOETC became the second OPITO certification center in China, obtaining the highest number of 9 certifications domestically.

OPITO is a global non-profit organization established in 1991 to develop and promote safety standards for the energy industry. The organization also collaborates with governments, oil companies, operators, and contractors to provide a range of standard services and products to meet international skill needs and support labor development. Promote the improvement of safety and capabilities to benefit the petroleum and petrochemical industry. Every year, over 370000 people receive OPITO standard training in over 50 countries and 230 certified training centers.

SIOETC is a governing body of the International Organization for Oil Spill Control (ISCO) and a member of the International Maritime Rescue Federation (IMRF).

SIOETC's commitment to HSE, health, safety, and environmental protection in the field of marine engineering continues to promote and develop marine technology and culture globally.

The International Organization for Oil Spill Control (ISCO) aims to enhance global preparedness and cooperation in responding to oil and chemical spills, promote technological development and professional capabilities, and provide the knowledge and experience of oil spill control professionals to the International Maritime Organization, the Environment Programme, the European Community, and other organizations.

At present, the center is a member unit of the China Emergency Management Association, a science popularization base of the China Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association, a member unit of the China Diving and Rescue Industry Association, and a member unit of the China Marine Industry Alliance; OPITO Certification Training Center of International Offshore Oil Industry Training Organization, GWO Certification Training Center of Global Wind Energy Organization, CDSA and PADI Diving Training Certification Center, Co-TECC International Tactical Emergency Medical Committee Certification Training Center.
