The first Mountain and Sea "SIOETC" Cup Wall Painting Festival, sponsored and organized by the Youth League Committee of Shandong Maritime Vocational College and sponsored by Shandong International Marine Engineering Training Center, has recently come to a successful conclusion. The competition aims to beautify the campus environment, enrich the cultural life of college students, and showcase their creative talents. With the theme of ocean exploration and ocean engineering, students from various colleges actively sign up, unleashing their imagination and design talents. After multiple selections, The work of Zhang Liangmin, a student from the School of Aeronautics and Astronautics, won the first prize. Prince Peng, Wang Yujie, and Li Qimeng from JD New Mayer E-commerce School won the second and third prizes respectively. The top three finalists were painted on the exterior wall of the International Ocean Engineering Training Center, becoming a new cultural landmark of the school.

The wall painting festival has received high attention and support from school leaders. The President of Shandong Maritime Vocational College and Director Wang of the Student Affairs Office personally attended the award ceremony, and together with the General Manager of the International Marine Engineering Training Center, Wu Yue, presented awards to the award-winning students and painting team. Principal Xi delivered a speech with "value" as the central theme, calling on students to fully utilize their talents and demonstrate their self-worth during their school years; Mr. Wu expressed gratitude to the college for giving the center the opportunity to participate in school activities and advocated for students to pay attention to marine engineering, marine energy, and marine environmental protection. He also encourages his classmates to study hard during their school years, acquire knowledge and skills, and looks forward to the opportunity for them to participate in the construction of a maritime power after graduation.

Finally, when we arrived at the wall painting site, we saw exquisite compositions, smooth lines, and bright colors, which not only injected vitality into the International Marine Training Center, but also provided a place for all teachers and students to appreciate art and relax, adding a brilliant color to the campus culture. Mr. Wu and his classmates took a group photo in front of their respective award-winning works, and made an appointment to make the next year's Wall Painting Festival even more exciting!

The International Ocean Engineering Training Center (SIOETC), established in 2018, is a state-owned private mixed ownership enterprise of a joint-stock international standardization and safety training center.
