China has proposed the initiative to jointly build the 21st Century Maritime Silk Road, aiming to promote maritime connectivity and practical cooperation in various fields, promote the development of the blue economy, promote the integration of marine culture, and jointly enhance the well-being of the ocean. China is a maritime power with a vast sea area. So we must advance towards the ocean and accelerate the construction of a maritime power.

SIOETC has always been committed to promoting the development of marine engineering technology and the sustainable utilization of marine resources. Our mission is to protect and study the ocean, helping humanity better understand and utilize this magical blue field.

SIOETC has been awarded the title of the only "Marine Education Plate" chemical research base in Weifang City! This is recognition of our years of continuous exploration and innovation in the field of ocean engineering, and it is also an important milestone in our commitment to promoting the development of the ocean industry.

The center is one of the few comprehensive training bases in China engaged in marine shipping, marine energy, marine environmental protection, marine rescue, and marine exploration training; Provide domestic and international safety training certification in shipping; As an OPITO and GWO certification center, we provide safety certification for marine energy; As a governing unit of ISCO, we participate in the handling of international marine environmental protection affairs; As a member unit of the IMRF working group, we participate in the development of international maritime rescue standards. SIOETC Haizhuo is also the only center in China that provides professional certification training for seabed survey and surveying, involving professional job competency certification for equipment such as multi beam bathymeters and sonar. As the science popularization base of the China Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association AOPA, we provide aviation safety training and science popularization.

In the future, more than 50% of our children should be engaged in professional work related to the ocean. We welcome children from all over the country and the world to come to SIOETC to learn about the ocean
