When safety, as a value, permeates decision-making at all levels, leaders will continuously promote improvement and always prioritize safety. The safety issues in the construction and operation of offshore wind power are becoming increasingly prominent. In the face of the complex and ever-changing marine environment different from land, it is particularly important to improve the safety capabilities of management personnel. As leaders of enterprises and even the entire management team, it is even more necessary to lead by example and adhere to the policy of "safety first, prevention first".

The purpose of introducing the GWO offshore wind farm safety admission course at the International Ocean Engineering Training Center is to provide relevant leaders and management personnel with the knowledge, skills, and confidence they need to visit the site, so that they will not cause danger to themselves or others when inspecting or visiting the offshore engineering site, and have relevant safety knowledge and adaptability in case of emergencies.

The purpose of the Offshore Wind Farm Safety Access (OLA) module is to provide a minimum level of safety training for leaders, management personnel, administrative personnel, and others who do not frequently work on engineering sites. (Applicable for visits, inspections, or observations - no more than 6 times per year). The training provides the minimum knowledge and skills required for secure access and temporary stay, and is accompanied by at least two experienced GWO BST trainees to engage in offshore wind farm activities.

The International Ocean Engineering Training Center (SIOETC) has recently achieved remarkable achievements in the field of offshore wind energy training. The center has passed the annual review of the Global Wind Organization (GWO) and obtained a new qualification for the Offshore Wind Farm Safety Access (OLA) module certification. SIOETC is the first and only training institution in China to obtain this standard course.

This course is designed for employees and contractors who need to visit offshore wind turbines and substations for inspection, observation, or auxiliary work. The content includes ship transfer and basic offshore survival skills, as well as safety and emergency procedures.

By obtaining this certification, SIOETC demonstrates its commitment to providing high-quality and internationally recognized training for the offshore wind power industry, driving its rapid development in China and around the world. SIOETC has also been certified by well-known organizations such as OPITO, PADI, CDSA, TECC, making it a comprehensive international training center in the field of marine engineering.

SIOETC successfully passed the GWO annual audit and obtained a new qualification - (OLA)Offshore Limited Access. SIOETC is the first training provider in China to obtain this standard course.

SIOETC, the Shandong International Ocean Engineering Training Center, has recently achieved a remarkable feat in the field of offshore wind energy training. The center has passed the Global Wind Organization (GWO) annual audit and received a new certification for Offshore Limited Access. This makes SIOETC the first and only training provider in China to offer this course, which is designed for employees and contractors who need to visit offshore wind turbine generators and substations for inspection, observation, or support purposes. The course covers boat transfers and basic sea survival skills, as well as safety and emergency procedures.By obtaining this certification, SIOETC demonstrates its commitment to providing high-quality and internationally recognized training for the offshore wind industry, which is rapidly growing in China and around the world. GWO

  Global Wind Energy Organization

GWO is a non-profit organization jointly founded and owned by a leading global wind turbine manufacturer, its owners, and operators, headquartered in Copenhagen, Denmark. GWO members are committed to establishing a non-invasive work environment in the wind turbine industry, and have established common international standards for wind power safety training and emergency procedures. The GWO standard combines basic safety and technical training with a series of globally recognized unified standards, creating a safer working environment while also improving personnel efficiency.

The GWO standard describes the requirements for training courses recommended by GWO members. By adhering to GWO standards and guidelines, training institutions that have completed GWO certification possess leading wind power training levels and professional abilities.

Anyone who holds a GWO certificate in the Wind Energy Industry Database (WINDA) is considered to have complete safety knowledge, skills, and professional abilities in the field of wind power safety under the GWO standard. GWO members recognize the GWO certificate as proof that wind power practitioners possess the knowledge and abilities described in the standards.
